Background

I am a software engineer who enjoys working on challenging and ambitious projects that create shared value for businesses, customers, and the public. I am proficient in various technologies, with expertise in modern web apps built using Ruby on Rails and JavaScript. My experience includes work across both front-end and back-end disciplines, and my strengths include system design, performance improvement, and product strategy.

I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, gardening, and tinkering with various side projects. My most prized possessions include my large (and growing) anti-library, which contains high-quality nonfiction books spanning multiple domains and classic science fiction books. If I'm not reading a book or building something cool, I might be watching MLB (Atlanta Braves), MLS (Nashville SC), La Liga (FC Barcelona), Formula 1 (Haas/Ferrari) or UFC.
